We went to the venue a few days prior to ride around and acclimate Ehren to the scene. He was sure that we were going fox hunting and after a couple of hours, had hardly relaxed! I was certain that the show would be a huge mistake, and worried that I'd damaged his happy nature about going to busy new places.
We unloaded on show day and he couldn't have been better. He was relaxed at the trailer, civilized in the warmup and settled more and more in the ring as the day went on. We won our Training Division and posted a score of 67.4% at First Level Test 1.
It was a perfect note to end my little show run on, so that we could relax and enjoy a terrific vacation fishing on Lake Esnagi. The sheer abundance of fish and wildlife spoke to the natural health of the area, most likely due to it's remoteness. We highly recommend Camp Esnagi if you're interested in experiencing it for yourself!
