"...You're Just Reacting." - Joanne Bouwhuis, FEI 3* Dressage Judge
We welcomed Joanne back on November 27-28 for another clinic. The barn was full of new and engaged boarders, the fall weather had been very mild, and I was thrilled to fill up a weekend of lessons for my friend and mentor.
There were so many highlights for me: the fun social of bringing new people together, Joanne assessing Ali and Ludi together "That's a nice pair!", she gently pushed my friend Katrina through a mental barrier to enjoy cantering around on her lovely mare Elsa, she tirelessly transformed horses through their riders to move more athletically, from dawn till after dusk, and she watched me present Ehren with hopes of showing at First Level in 2022, and then said, "And why not SECOND level?".
We promised to do our homework and hope to have her back in March!
